Being able to go to church in person is a blessing that I took for granted before 2020.
After the shutdowns, we got used to staying home and watching church virtually. When it opened back up we were excited to go in-person, but we were quick to revert to virtual services when it felt more convenient for us.
At home, we’re easily distracted and don’t get nearly as much out of the message. I’ve noticed for me it’s affected my commitment to spiritual growth over the last year, and I know I’m not the only one.
This time of gathering is special and essential for spiritual growth, I fully know that now. I’m thankful my church has found a way to gather safely, and you can bet I’m really looking forward to Easter this year. 🙌
