Corn-Soybeans-Corn. We’ve been switching back and forth these first couple weeks of harvest, battling with weather changes, picking around certain areas, and adapting to get done with what we can. Seasons like this are always interesting and involve extra work when we switch from crop to crop.
It reminds me of the first time I ever met Josh… He was switching heads on the combine in the shop yard. It was another year like this one where the crops weren’t ready in a perfect sequence. Maybe it’s not ideal, but I’ll always be thankful for that year when they had to switch back and forth, otherwise, there’s a chance I never would’ve met him.
