“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer” Romans 12:12
This weekend was a good reminder for me. Farmers are full of hope for the future. There’s a whole heck of a lot that can go wrong from the moment you put the seed in the ground and several of those things are out of our control. So we have hope and faith every growing season.
We’re patient during affliction. When things aren’t going as planned, we do what we can. If there’s nothing we can do, we pray that the Lord will provide what we need.
Farming, at least in our family, requires a heavy dose of faith… and tonight we were blessed with a much-needed rainstorm.
