It was a warm spring day… about a year ago…

It was a warm spring day during planting season about a year ago. I was home with our 8-month-old son, most likely playing outside, when I got the call. It was my husband.

He was acting strange. ⁣⁣Immediately my mind went to the worst place. What was wrong with him? Did something break? Did he get stuck? Did he need me to go get parts? Uff, I was hoping it wasn’t too bad because I know how breakdowns affect progress and add to stress…. ESPECIALLY in a year like 2019.

⁣⁣Anyways, he went on to tell me he was driving the planting tractor when all of a sudden, he heard something smoosh. It was his lunch. He ran over his lunch. 🥪 He told me the contents of what was remaining resembled a smoothie… ⁣🥤 ⁣⁣The call was because he was sheepishly asking me if I could maybe, possibly, bring him out another lunch. 😂 Momma to the rescue. ⁣⁣

I thought that day, man… our life is pretty fun. Farming is all about family and having each other’s backs… for the big things and the small things like bringing out a new lunch. Farms don’t run with the farmer alone. I decided that day to start sharing our story on social media. I wanted to give a behind the scenes look and help people understand what we do and why we do it. ⁣⁣

So, here we are a year later. I still cannot BELIEVE how many of you are interested in our story. But we are so very grateful for each and every one of you. ⁣💛
