A little shoutout to this farmer who worked countless hours over the last week, came home from a full Sunday harvesting beans, and at 10pm still helped me by cleaning up the kitchen because I was busy with cheese stuff.
At about 11pm, when our teething toddler woke up screaming, he volunteered to comfort and rock him back to sleep. And today when it rained, he came home early to take Hank off my hands and spend the whole day with him.
I’m thankful for all the farmers out there on this National Farmers Day and everyone who supports them in feeding our world, but I’m especially thankful for this farmer… who is MUCH more than a farmer to us.
