You can’t really promise your kids much…
You can’t promise them they’ll be successful or rich. You can’t promise they’ll live a comfortable life. You can’t promise they’ll always be treated fairly. You can’t promise they won’t struggle.
You can’t promise they’ll land their dream job. You can’t promise they’ll be able to take over the farm.
You can’t even promise them tomorrow.
But you can promise them, you’ll love them unconditionally every day of their lives. You can teach them the Lord promises to love them, too.
You can’t really promise your kids much… but what you can promise them is the most important.
