Today, mom life kind of hit me like a ton of bricks. Hank is sick or teething, we aren’t really sure but he is ExTrA fussy and needy. There is SO much to be done. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, organizing, etc… plus running 3 small businesses. Yes. Three.
No, none of these businesses are fortune 500, nor do they take up 8 hours in a day… but they sure could if I wanted them to. Especially with tax season and new exciting plans coming into place.
Sometimes I have to stop and take a deep breath and pray to sweet baby Jesus that he’ll help me manage my time… and today was one of those days.
I really enjoy being a mom… I LOVE it! But I also love being an entrepreneur. I love being able to stay home with him AND work towards my own dreams, but a lot of days don’t go as planned when I need to wear my mom hat during ALL waking hours.
So here’s to you, mama’s working on businesses while staying home with littles. I hope you can dream big and set your goals high, but also forgive yourself on the days where your to-do list doesn’t get done. Even if that is every single day in an entire week… or month… or year. You are tough and resilient.
