Crock Pot Beef
- Season the roast on all sides with the seasoning mix
- Layer the sliced onions on the bottom of the crockpot
- Put the roast on top of the onions
- Add the broth, Worcestershire, and soy sauce
- Cook on low for 8 hours until the roast is easily pulled apart with two forks
- After cooking, shred the beef and return it to the juices in the slow cooker, so the meat can soak up the juices
Sandwich Assembly
- Put a good layer of butter on each bun
- Toast the buns on a skillet until they're nice and golden brown on the inside
- Layer one slice of cheese on the bottom of the sandwhich
- Top with a hearty layer of the juicy meat mixture
- Add a second slice of cheese to the top of the meat, and then add the top bun
- Wrap the sandwich in tin foil for the ride to the field so the cheese can get nice and melty into the meat.
