S'mores in a Jar

Servings: 10 jelly jar size servings

Ingredients

  • 1 Chocolate Pudding (5.9 oz family size)
  • 8 oz heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 7 oz Marshmallow Creme Tub
  • 4 oz dark or milk chocolate (or a combination of both)
  • 10 oz Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 box Graham Crackers

Equipment

  • Jelly jars & regular mouth lids

Method

Preparation
  1. Prepare the chocolate pudding according to package instructions. Set aside in the fridge to set up.
  2. Whip the heavy whipping cream & maple syrup together until stiff peaks form
  3. Fold the marshmallow fluff into the heavy whipping cream until just combined. It's okay if it's a little chunky and doesn't need to be perfectly smooth
  4. Crush graham crackers in a food processor or just with your hands. Get the crumbs as fine as you want them.
  5. Chop the chocolate into fine pieces. You can use chocolate chips, a chocolate bar, whatever kind of chocolate you want.
  6. Layer the mini marshmallows on a parchment-lined sheet pan. You may also want to spray the parchment with nonstick spray because mine stuck to it. Roast the mini marshmallows under your broiler in the oven. Watch the marshmallows the whole time they're in the broiler because they WILL burn fast.
Jar Assembly
  1. Get all of your jars lined up and start layering in the ingredients.
  2. Start with about 1/4" graham cracker crumb base. Then add in about 1.5 ish tbsp chocolate pudding, a sprinkle of the chocolate pieces, 1.5 ish tbsp whipped marshmallow fluff, and then repeat with another layer of graham crackers, chocolate pudding, chocolate pieces and whipped marshmallow fluff.
  3. At the very end, top with a layer of the roasted mini marshmallows. Cover with a regular mouthed jar lid for transport to the field.
