Honey Mustard Bacon Wrapped Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken breasts
- 1 lb bacon
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup mustard
- salt & pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven or smoker to 375 degrees
- Slice chicken breasts so they're more like the size of a tenderloin
- season on both sides with salt & pepper
- Wrap each chicken breast with 1-2 slices of bacon
- Mix honey & mustard together in a small bowl
- Split off 1/2 cup of the honey & Mustard mixture to baste the raw chicken. Using a basting brush, slather each chicken breast with the honey mustard mixture on both sides
- Bake or smoke until internal temperature of the chicken breasts reaches 165.
- Brush on the remaining honey & mustard mixture about 3 minutes before the chicken is finished cooking.
- Serve!
