Dump Cake
Ingredients
- 2 cans Pie Filling Any flavor, sometimes a combo of two kinds is good. I like to use cherry. Some like to combine 1 can cherry & 1 can pineapple. You can also do apples, blueberry, or whatever you like.
- 1 box white or yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans optional
- 1/4 cup cold cubed butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Spray a 9×13" pan with a nonstick spray
- "DUMP" both cans of pie filling into the pan
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the pie filling
- sprinkle chopped pecans evenly over cake mix
- Drizzle melted butter evenly over nuts and cake mix
- cube cold butter and leave small dabs in the gaps the melted butter didn't hit
- Bake 50-60 minutes until the topping is golden brown and bubbly
- Let cool & serve
- Top with whipped cream at serving
