Dump Cake

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans Pie Filling Any flavor, sometimes a combo of two kinds is good. I like to use cherry. Some like to combine 1 can cherry & 1 can pineapple. You can also do apples, blueberry, or whatever you like.
  • 1 box white or yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup chopped pecans optional
  • 1/4 cup cold cubed butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Spray a 9×13" pan with a nonstick spray
  • "DUMP" both cans of pie filling into the pan
  • Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the pie filling
  • sprinkle chopped pecans evenly over cake mix
  • Drizzle melted butter evenly over nuts and cake mix
  • cube cold butter and leave small dabs in the gaps the melted butter didn't hit
  • Bake 50-60 minutes until the topping is golden brown and bubbly
  • Let cool & serve
  • Top with whipped cream at serving
