Pork Chop Sandwiches

Ingredients
  

Marinade

  • 4-6 pork chops
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 lemons juiced & zested
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • pepper to taste

Sandwich Sauce

  • 3 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp red wine vinegar
  • salt & pepper to taste

Sandwich Fixings

  • 4-6 buns
  • 4-6 slices of bacon
  • 4-6 slices Muenster Cheese

Instructions
 

Marinade & Grill

  • Mix all the ingredients for the marinade together in a small bowl.
  • Pour over pork chops and allow to marinate for at least 1 hour, up to 12 hours
  • rotate chops throughout marinade time to make sure they are evenly coated
  • Grill until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees

Sauce

  • mix all ingredients together in a small bowl. Taste and adjust ingredients to your liking.

Sandwich Assembly

  • Toast buttered buns on a skillet
  • Bake bacon at 400 degrees until its to your desired crispness
  • Spread sauce on both top & bottom sandwich bun
  • Layer on cheese, pork chop, slice of bacon
  • wrap in tinfoil for transport
