Pork Chop Sandwiches
Ingredients
Marinade
- 4-6 pork chops
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 2 lemons juiced & zested
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- pepper to taste
Sandwich Sauce
- 3 tbsp mustard
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp red wine vinegar
- salt & pepper to taste
Sandwich Fixings
- 4-6 buns
- 4-6 slices of bacon
- 4-6 slices Muenster Cheese
Instructions
Marinade & Grill
- Mix all the ingredients for the marinade together in a small bowl.
- Pour over pork chops and allow to marinate for at least 1 hour, up to 12 hours
- rotate chops throughout marinade time to make sure they are evenly coated
- Grill until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees
Sauce
- mix all ingredients together in a small bowl. Taste and adjust ingredients to your liking.
Sandwich Assembly
- Toast buttered buns on a skillet
- Bake bacon at 400 degrees until its to your desired crispness
- Spread sauce on both top & bottom sandwich bun
- Layer on cheese, pork chop, slice of bacon
- wrap in tinfoil for transport
